I am touring the east coast with legendary songwriter and performer Adalita in October to support the release of her new album ‘All Day Venus’. Please visit her website http://www.adalita.com/ for the dates.
Doors are at 8:00pm for an 8:30pm start.
Longplay’s address is 318 St Georges Rd, North Fitzroy
Seats are limited in the cinema so arrive early to get a seat. Longplay is a good place to have dinner.
Barnaby Smith at ABC arts interviewed myself, Gareth Liddiard, Dan Kelly and Kram for his blog about the art of performing. Have a look here: http://www.abc.net.au/arts/blog/studio-shots/art-live-performance-barnaby-smith-121101/default.htm
I get a bit new age when I talk about performing. Fortunately Barnaby was kind enough to edit most of it out but the phrase ‘in the moment’ does appear at least once.
This article surrounds an exhibition I was a part of called ‘Live – an intimate study of the art of performing’. Some amazing artists were involved. Here is a picture of director Jasmin Tarasin showing Rufus Wainwright how to browse the internet.
My label is turning 20. We are having a big show on November 17th at North Melbourne Town Hall. Twerps, Pikelet, Crayon Fields, Beaches and many more sweet acts are playing. I am doing a set of new songs. Here is a link to buy tickys.
Thanks for being amazing Guy and Ben, love youse.
I recently sang back ups for PK on a couple of songs on his new album, Spring and Fall. Here’s a link to a video of him chatting about it and playing a song.
I finally have a website. Kewl! Thanks to my mate Prue for setting it up.
