How the tour went, updates, notifications and Merry Christmas

Hi Friends
This time of year is full on eh? Hope you are all having fun and not
stressing too hard.
First things first.. Thank you to all those who made our November tour
so much fun. It was an old school wandering minstrel styled affair,
with friends and families as our hosts and like minded souls turning
up to shows with curious ears. Lo! It was goode. Thank you for making
it so. A special shout out to our hosts - we love you! Thanks for your
amazing hospitality. Photos are up on Jen Cloher's myspace.
For all those wanting to join our touring partner Jen Cloher and The
Endless Sea's mailing list, simply visit http://www.jencloher.com and

The Eden Land Band and I are playing at The Falls Festival in Lorne,
in case any of you will be there. We're on the main stage on the 29th
at 2:00pm, and in the Arts Village on the 30th at about 2pm.
After that, it's looking a bit slim on the old gig front..
We do have a show at The Applecore Backyard Festival, held in our
friends backyard, on the 21st of February. It's in the inner suburbs
of Melbourne...
Also, we are supporting renowned English folkies Rachel Unthank and
The Winterset on their Australian tour in March. More info on these
shows closer to the date. I promise!
We are currently rehearsing and getting ready to record again. That's
why we don't have heaps of gigs, you see. Not because we are unpopular
or anything.
Ever wanted to see inside my flat? Thought not. Oh well, if anyone is
weirdly interested, Frankie Magazine did a photoshoot of my stuff and
me in my flat. It'll be out in late January.

And another thing... All of us except Martin will be touring as Jen
Cloher's band 'The Endless Sea' supporting Mia Dyson through late
February and March. Check out Mia or Jen's website for more info.
I helped Darren Hanlon produce a couple of new songs he has put on a
12 inch, I also play bass, sing backup vocals and do a James Brown
scream on one of them. He is selling them on limited edition 12 inch
vinyl. Check out his website to order: http://www.darrenhanlon.com
I will probably email you again in late Jan about some other stuff.
Feel free to forward this email on to anyone that might be interested.
Until then.... X
Laura
